Secondary School Economics Teacher

Qualifications and Experience:

Has a Bachelor's degree/Master’s degree in Economics and or Business Studies (having a teaching certification is preferred
Has at least five years of experience teaching at least two of the following subjects at different levels:
- IB DP Economics HL and SL
- Cambridge AS and A Level Economics (9708)
- Cambridge IGCSE Level Economics (0455)
- Cambridge Lower Secondary Enterprise
- Cambridge AS and A Level Business (9609)
- Cambridge IGCSE Business Studies (0450)

Highly motivated to serve children, has in-depth knowledge of the subject and ability to engage students in classroom activities.
Should be inclined with the IB/CAIE Philosophy and should be able to support the students to hone their skills.
Passionate on professional and personal growth to improve teaching practices, preparing up-to-date teaching resources and instructional materials using a variety of teaching methods to increase students joy and success of learning.
Demonstrate an understanding of interdisciplinary teaching and learning.
Continuously monitor student learning and make appropriate modifications of goals, strategies and content when necessary to meet students’ needs.
Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of student progress and attendance. Has experience in using the teaching-learning platforms, such as ManageBac.
Be available to parents and students during and outside of school hours if needed.
Demonstrates independence, enthusiastic about sharing professional practices, ability to work as part of a proactive team member.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
