Qualifications :

• Has a Bachelor’s degree/ Master’s degree in Religious Studies, Education, or a related field, along with relevant certification (holding a teaching certification is preferred).

• Has at least two years of teaching experience in the above subject

Other Requirements:

• Highly motivated to work with children, has in-depth knowledge of the subject, demonstrates the ability to engage students, and upholds high standards for both self and students. 

• Excellent communication and comprehension skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.

• Passionate about professional and personal growth to improve teaching practices, preparing up-to-date teaching resources and instructional materials using various teaching methods to increase students’ joy and success of learning. 

• A passion for nurturing students' understanding of religion and instilling moral values while fostering respect for diversity.

• Understanding of the national curriculum for religious education, with the ability to align teaching with its objectives.

• Demonstrate an understanding of interdisciplinary teaching and learning. 

• Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of student progress and attendance.   

• Demonstrates independence, enthusiasm about sharing professional practices, and ability to work as a proactive team member.

• Prior knowledge or experience with the IB PYP or Cambridge curriculum framework is advantageous.
